For those arriving at the Minot Air Force Base by plane, the nearest major airport is the Minot International Airport which is located about 2 miles from the base. Taxi service is provided from the airport. The bus or train station is located in the middle of the city of Minot, North Dakota. If arriving by car, exit the airport by following US Highway 83. Once you pass the town of Ruthville about two miles south of the base, you will come upon the south gate but continue on one mile further to the Visitor Control Center which is your first stop.
